Dan Kass

Hi, my name is Dan Kass. I'm currently an Developer Support Engineer for Johnson Controls. I love working with new technologies and learning new skills. I am also back in school to earm my MBA at UWM.

In my day job I'm a part of a team that helps teach other developers inside and outside of Johnson Controls how to effectively utilized a backend Data Platform for getting and using Internet of Things Data.

My favorite hobby is home brewing beer. Its a great hobby that has so many different aspects involved. I get to do hands-on DIY projects when it comes to the brewing equipment. Chemistry when it comes the brewing itself. I'm much better at brewing chemistry now than I ever was in school. Experimenting with different ingredients is also blast! It's crazy how changing something small can have a big affect on the beer. Having good beer is just an added bonus to everything else in the hobby.
